Too many tools are available for VAG cars...

The Tools for VAG like Galletto,kwp2000,etc for euro cars is very expensive,compared to the open port,and the clone ones is cant be trusted ,i think the open port have the ability to read some cars.

As far as I know, EcuFlash and Ecuedit are already capable to read and reflash VAG cars providing correct cable and drivers are used.
The problem concerns map descriptions and map edit/modify.
AFAIK, galletto, KWP2000 do not provide capabilities to edit/modify maps ?

What software are you thinking of epifan for editing/modifying maps ?

galletto and kwp is read/right tools like the tactrix cable it's not for ecu editing,when you read the stock map you edit with WinOls or tuner pro software but you need correct checksumm and map locations for winOls because it read the ecu in hexdecimal mode and XDF defination file for tuner pro same like ECU Flash XML defination file,i am not expret in this but i think that's the way if someone can correct me,i cant find maps and do defination file on my own so i am asking for help supporting this euro cars,so i am asking for if ecuedit have read mode for this ecu instead of the expensive tools and provide wide open source,EPIFAN is the Prof. here for more explaination .
