Autoselect? Autofocus? on mouse-over

Postby Freon » Mon Oct 02, 2006 12:00 am

It seems on the newer versions, Ecuedit automatically changes "Focus" or selects the maps just by passing my mouse over the map. Like I don't even have to click.

This is incredibly annoying! I don't want my top-most map to change unless I actually click on the map to bring it up front.

It's kinda dangerous too. If my mouse moves and I'm pressing + and - on the keyboard I may change the wrong map and not know it! I suggest completely removing this...

After looking at this again, it seems like it has to be some sort of bug.

It isn't consistent. I'm working in Ecuedit right now. When I first opened it, it was normal. Now it is doing the map switch just when I move my mouse over the maps, but not 100% of the time...

Same problem when I click on a data point in the map. If I move my mouse out of the data window and then try to type in a new data value or press +/- on the keyboard, it doesn't work. The slight dotted outline on the datapoint disappears and I have to click on the data point again to edit it.
