I current use another program for Dyno-ing and would love to stay with EcuEdit all together for all Tuning.

I see that DD and Data Log Lab Dyno curves are more realistic.

I find that sometimes the Gear/Vehicle speed Dyno's are more likely to be off. Not a little off, but way off.

FWIW the update that epifan just posted, 2.6.4.158, greatly improved the dyno feature. It looks like it should now be pretty useful for tuning.

You are correct. I forgot to post 2 days ago. Just preparing a trip to tune some sti's and solodex.

My only problem is the 2-20, with results changing alot.

But good work Epifan.

Dyno in v2.6.4.158 does looks much better (more points, less smooth), but I'm finding it less accurate than the one in v2.6.3.149 : measurement in metrics seems to give bHP while in v2.6.3.149 gave wHP ?

Edit : see next post, v2.6.4.158 dyno plot is definatly better

Curious to know what drag coefficient to use for buggeye STi (I use to use 1 with previous revisions, but I just realise it should be closer to 0.3 to 0.4 from what I read on the web, especially from wikipedia). With the same idea, what about the frontal area (I use 2.2 m² or 23.68 sqft) ?

My last comment, it is always hard to obtain a smooth curve shape at the top end (spikes or large waves) whichever the smooth factor is. Can you do something against that epifan ?

Thanks
