EcuEdit Ver3.0

Report bugs/problems with ecuEdit

EcuEdit Ver3.0

Postby Spec C Wannabe » Thu Oct 04, 2007 2:03 am

I observed that

1. Freezing of Logging program is still a problem. Observed that it happends when I accelerate hard. Or when there is a tremendous change in data reading. No problem during idle or cruising.

2. Need to select Logging->Trigger log on->Defog Switch everytime when I open the program to activate the log recording from Defog Switch.

3. Ecuflash only 16Bit? I didn't see kernel for 32bit Ecu.

4. "Manifold Relative Pressure (corrected)" readings are out of precision. My observation is the reading from EcuEdit is about 5 psi (or more)less than my boost guage and other logging program (Enginu..y)

Epifan, could you pls investigate and if possible issue a patch or a new revision for us?

Thanks
Nik

Perhaps you have problems with contacts of OBD port and connector of cable.

I don't know why you do this. Last activated trigger are stored and you don't need to reactivate it.
But I find bug related to this: if you don't check Defog Switch parameter to log - trigger never happend until you reactivate it. So, I fix this problem.
Try fixed version

Because I don't release version with support of DBW Subaru

I don't know why it happens with you. Please log this parameters: MAP, Atmospheric pressure and MRP and check MRP by formula MRP=MAP-Atmo in each time point. Would be nice if you send this log to me.
