Having Trouble connecting with LM-1

Postby Spec C Wannabe » Mon Aug 13, 2007 2:07 am

I tried to connect LM-1 with EcuEdit.

1. LM-1 was powered on when I tried to connect and was working properly.

2. EcuEdit Logger was open.

3. On the main Menu, I chose ->Connect-> External Sensors-> Innovate SDK

4. Reconnected to ECU

5. EcuEdit returned "Can't connect to Innovate Lambda SDK" then "Can't find External Device" then "Can't connect to external sensors"

I check the COM port in Choose Port menu, and EcuEdit saw COM5 which I assigned LM-1 to.

I tried to "Configure Sensor" in the External Sensors menu but EcuEdit just paused running the program and I can't tell EcuEdit to look for COM5 for LM-1

Anyone with idea??

Please, please help.

I was having the same problem only moments ago.

I tried
1. Open ECUEdit
2. Click File and goto "Reset Positions"
3. Click Yes
4. Close EcuEdit and reopen, attempt to connect to the ECU. Yay, wideband works again.

Hey Thanks alot :D

What does it mean by the pop up window "! Reset all stored map window position and parameters. This process will clear all Window Registry entries of EcuEdit"

Does that mean all the personal settings are gone?

Do I have to enter new Registration Key?

Got the LM-1 work out right

Postby Spec C Wannabe » Tue Aug 21, 2007 2:30 pm

Finally.....

It turned out that I didn't check the box "Install Innovate SDK...." in the installation wizard.

I reinstalled EcuEdit and, in the process, checked the Innovate SDK when the wizard asked and volla!

:D
