I CANNOT FLASH

Postby Profoxcg » Thu Feb 14, 2008 6:44 am

I have been trying to tune my car for two weeks already, I thought my sensors where bad because I would make changes to the map , upload the, (flash) and wouldnt get any results. Tonight I tried to read the current map on the car and I realized that it was a very old map uoloaded with ecuflash prior to purchasing ecuedit.

Ecuedit acts as if it is flasing the ECU, but in reality it doesn't Can you please help me fix this.

First, please, show your flash log

BTW, If you have Evo9, then open XMLDefs\flash.xml, find
Code: Select all
<flash_template name="Evo 9 16-bit"

and check out <flash_method><do_write> TAG. It must have True value.
