Ok, got my registration key last Saturday morning. Further to the question from me about registered version, basically you need to purchase the software to get the real time map tracing features to work. Example, opening a open loop fueling map, connect the logger to log rpm, engine load, external air fuel sensor, open the trace functions and link it bingo you got the dancing traces on the fuel map when u depress your accelerator.
I have even tried opening trace mappping 3 maps etc open loop fueling, open loop fueling (failsafe) and base and with a depress of your accelerator the tracers dances on the 3 maps simultaneously, marvelleous!
I would say it is a very potent functions in identifying straightaway where the various parameters are when tuning.
Anyway I am still figuring and learning out the numerous options of this software, the possibilities is limitless.
There is certainly lack of informations on the experiences of using ecuEdit on this forums, hopefully the above experiences contributes one way or another. If any one likes to share do let me know as i am still learning the features.
By the way I am using this software to tune my subaru gdb.
Wish me luck!
