New v3.6 version released (discussion)

Postby epifan » Fri Jul 17, 2009 12:30 pm

Download here
I've recommend to install full package.

Also I've made read-only restriction for Evo CAN flashing (but you can change this in flash.xml). I've found many problems with Evo CAN flashing experience in Internet, but I've no problems with my test EDM Evo X. So you can decide what flash program are use. I would recomment to use EcuFlash for Evo CAN flashing only because I can't help to recover corrupted ECUs...

Hi Epifan,
I have some problems with this last release for some unknown reasons :

Opening ECU map, some ECU read correctly, but some doesn't. For ECU where it doesn't work, X and Y axis show "0" or inconsistant values. Some map show "0" values everywhere. The 2 ECU I saw problems with are
STi MT EDM 07 (A8DK100Z-UE) and STi type UK 01/02 - AG821-2593 (A4RN100Q-EX), but there might have some more.
Whichever logdef file I use (enginuity or regular one) the symptoms are the same.

I first copied back the exe file from v3.5.3.264 (without changing anything else). No improvement.

I then copied back files from 3.5.3.264 logdef backup folder into application logdef folder. It worked well for STi EDM 07 but still not for STi UK 01/02 !

I had to copied back the full v3.5.3.264 backup folder to recover correct map edit functions.

Thanks for the backup folders

Can you have a look ?

Problem is in descriptions. reconvert descriptions from romraider using new version and all will be fine.

Hi Epifan, its working fine now following your advise.
I still had problems with A4RN100Q definition which doesn't exist neither in Romraider nor in Ecuflash. I had to modify xml def file to agd it for description based on A4RN1000.
Thanks
