First a disclaimer....
By no means am I degrading or complaining about the product - I think ecuEdit has/is a significant value and is constantly evolving and becoming better.
No I have not had my car on a Dyno yet
I don't buy in to the fact that by simply adding name brand aftermarket components will solve one's horsepower desires.
Here is my condrumdun:
2004 USDM WRX STI
52K Mi
Stock Airbox Accel Blue filter
Airbox Silencer Delete
Stock Downpipe w/second cat delete
3" Ansa CAT Back
Meth/Alky Injection set at 10PSI
WWF -0 + 2 bottles of HEET (yellow bottle)
Manual Boost Controller set at 17.4 PSI
Wheels stock BBS
Tires stock size 225/45/17
Mix of urethane components
Usual stiffening components
I find it difficult to believe that my car has 400 HP to the wheels as reported by the logging software although my car feels like it has 400 HP by driving it.
Is this realistic? I know that the Subaru ECM is advanced, adaptive and optimizes the performance combined with the AVCS will allow the engine to breath and perform at peak performance.
I would be interested in people thoughts and comments
