The XML files do not import correctly. They have a bunch of bogus entries with incorrect offsets.

Yeah some clean up would be nice. The conversion leaves many extra maps that don't work in the list. It does this on the logger side as well, and this is part of the reason I get those invalid floating point errors that basically lock up the logger.

Yeah i have to use the orginal EcuEdit defs for logging.

I was getting the same problem with defs imported from EcuFlash.

EcuEdit was showing every map ever defined for any Subaru (or maybe just any 32-bit Subaru) but my car only supports a few of them. For example it shows Base Timing A,B,C...G,H, but my car only supports a single "Base Timing" table (with no letter). And then there's the extra advance tables that the STI supports and mine doesn't.

However, on the Map Edit window, under the View menu, there's "Show Active Maps" and "Shown Own Maps" (among others). Selecting "Show Own Maps" gets rid of all of the irrelevant ones.
