I keep getting a reminder that Version 3.9.0.602 is available with a link to the forum to read about the update. Is this available yet?

Hey,
I think it was released as a beta version. AFAIK that version changes some buffer size used for flashing using the Mitsubishi CAN protocol.

go to download section. load it, install it and after the install you have the new version.
