2007 STi Cold Idle Speed

Postby Scott.T » Sun Sep 11, 2011 7:03 pm

Is there a way to drop the initial cold start idle down.

When I start from cold it idles at around 1,700rpm

I have adjusted the 3 idle tables to try and drop it to 1,500rpm but this only appears to of half worked.

it now idles initially at 1,700rpm for about 20 seconds then drops to 1,500rpm.

Having just fitted a 3" decat system, the noise at 1,700rpm first thing in the morning is maybe a little too much for the neighbours.

My last scoob, MY99, running an Apexi idled when cold at 1,200rpm which was much more acceptable. Although the stock OE ECU was a touch higher

It looks really great. Plain and simple good. Does not look strong,
