Your registrator (plimus.com) and other questions

Postby Kosti » Mon Oct 15, 2007 1:14 am

Hi,

Was thinking of purchasing the pro version, but I have a few questions

[1] Why is your registrator (plimus.com) charging only 0.86 for our Australian $$ when it is much higher $0.90

[2] Will this support IAM on my twin turbo model (or do I need to hack this like in other apps

[3] Fingerprinting - I change laptops like I change my tyres on my car - nearly every mths, how will I be affected

[4] Is there a detailed breakdown on what each map setting does? Like for example ;
Turbo Boost Error Correction - This table is used to help the ECU reach the desired load %. The left column references the difference between actual and desired load %, and the right column is the amount of adjustment to the wastegate duty cycle (WGDC) that will be applied to compensate for that difference. etc etc?

[5] How does it handle unknown roms like in my car which was never released in the UDM only ADM - do I need to build it from scratch and use tools like xmlwrite etc?

[6] How long will this be supported

I think that covers it - sorry for the questions, but just wanna see if this is suitable for me

Cheers

I don't know anything about rates of your national currency ;) Change currency in order form to USD and pay exactly $150.

Yes, you must find correct address of IAM, Load, and others for your unique car ;) Now I try to create parameter finder, may be this is help you

Ohh, you are unique as your car :) BTW, you will to register your program copy on each new laptop, according ecuEdit license agreements.

May be some enthusiast have this info, but even EcuTek don't have detailed info for each map ;)
