Reading Subaru fault Codes

Reading Subaru fault Codes

Postby tubbylad » Sat May 14, 2011 8:05 pm

Hello all,
hope some one can tell me how you know when ECU Edit is/has read the ECU for fault codes.

I want to read my 2004 Legacy 3.0R and when I choose fault code fom the drop down menu the screen opens with two tabs.
One tab opens up and it reads "no fault codes found".
There is a second tab OBD-II which lists loads of fault codes.

I only purchased logging option for ECU Edit so I dont know if it has limited functionality regarding fault codes.

Thanks

Martin

use [F4] button or switch to [DTC] tab for reading current and history DTCs

OK,
opened DTC
hit F5 (reread fault codes)
get the message fault codes not found

Am I correct to presume the car has not thrown any fault codes?

Apologies for being such newbie!
