SSM Custom Dash Bug

Postby Rex Engines » Thu Oct 18, 2007 3:44 pm

The midzonevalue for class 3 (analog gauges) are lost when the SSM window is closed and ecuEdit writes the item values to the registry. Even if the midzonevalue is entered directly into the registry, ecuEdit removes it on closing the SSM window. Class 4 (bar gauges) appear to work ok.

Also, can you add an option to change the analog gauge face and font colors?

Cheers :D

Further study reveals that it is just ..\ssm\Custom\Item0 that has it's midzonevalue registry entry removed when the SSM logging window is closed. Item1 ~ ItemN appear to function correctly.

Sticking with custom dash analog gauges, I notice that if you create a gauge with negative values, a boost gauge for example, where it's minimum value might be -10 and maximum value might be 20, you cannot span the color layers over the negative range as the input box only accepts positive integers. These, of course, constitute one very minor bug and one small missing feature. However, once you have completed the user manual  perhaps these small issues, along with the ability to change the analog gauge face color, could be addressed.

Wow, that was quick

Max Value on analog gauge fixed.
Negative integers with color layers now possible.

Who says this man does not support his customers :D

Thanks epifan :)

BTW, because of your super quick fixes, I won't hassle you about implementing a gauge face color option for a week or two ok.
