step by step procedure how to log with LM1?

Postby veightkiller » Sun May 06, 2007 11:13 pm

I've been trying to do this since i got my license on my ecuedit software but no luck. i download the latest version but the ecuedit wont connect to my wideband. is there a step by step procedure on how to do this? im currently using enginuity right now but my friend told me it's easier to log with the ecuedit with the graph features and use of a external sensor ei;wideband.

thanks
Jeff

I think is under the logger, open it and check out "Connect > External sensors.

Must be there, just order it my wideband, so keep us posted about the step by step method.

After you select in the external sensors, restart ecuedit and checkout the ecu parameters.
is listed there?

okey so here's what i happened i don't know why but it did :?: before i purchase the ecuedit basic i already download a free trial software.then i purchase it and got my registration key which i enter on the registration column and the external sensor doesn't work.so i decided to uninstall the ecuedit software and download a new one.guess what everything work's and it will ask you on the download if you are using a extenal sensor if "yes" check the box and it resumes downloading.to connect using your LM1 or any other wideband connect the serial cable that goes to the wideband unit and the USB cable on your laptop you can choose which ever COM port you want same with the tactrix cable and click the ecuedit icon on your desktop
click the subaru/mitsubishi icon and click on the external sensor, choose innovative SDK for LM1/LC1 users then click the sensor type and choose one of the following available sensors then restart the program.
click subaru icon-connect to ECU from there you can choose which software you want to data-log if you wat to use the graph right click on one of the colored box on the right and choose parameters.

hope it help's for the beginners like me.
